North
Stony Creek Metropark Trail
This trail offers the opportunity to bike around the gorgeous Stony Creek Lake on a paved 6.2-mile bike (and hike) path.
North/Central
Macomb Orchard Trail
A 24-mile bike (and hike) path that starts at 24 Mile Road and Dequindre in Shelby Township and travels northeast to the City of Richmond.
Central
Freedom Trail
This nearly 10-mile trail runs alongside Metropolitan Parkway/16 Mile Road through urban Macomb County from Metro Beach Metropark in Harrison Township and Schoenherr Road in Sterling Heights.
Clinton River Park Trail
This 4.5-mile bike (and hike) trail winds along the east bank of its namesake river in Sterling Heights through Jaycee and Heritage Parks and ends at wooden pedestrian bridge that leads into Dodge Park.
Central/South
Iron Belle Trail
A portion of Michigan’s Iron Belle Trail that extends more than 2,000 miles from the far western tip of the Upper Peninsula to Belle Isle in Detroit, runs through parts of Warren, Center Line and Sterling Heights.
