MedStar Ambulance Service to sponsor food drive on behalf of the Macomb Food Program
MedStar Ambulance is asking for the community to help fill an ambulance full of food that will be donated to Macomb Community Action's Macomb Food Program. On Thursday, December 20, Medstar will have an ambulance on site at Partridge Creek Mall (17420 Hall Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038) that will collect food and monetary donations to help the food program reach it's 2018 goals in feeding Macomb County residents in need. This year's earlier food drives were impacted by inclement weather, creating the need for additional events. The current goal is to raise $20,000 and 1,000 pounds of food.
Individuals and groups can help by collecting food, checks and/or cash and dropping them off at
Partridge Creek on the day of the MedStar event between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. If it is a group donation, arrangements to have it picked up can be made. Recognition of donations will be posted on the Macomb Food Program's social media pages - as this generosity will allow the program to continue feeding the hungry in Macomb County.
