Help Us Feed the Hungry!
Food banks are a trusted community resource at all times, but especially during crises. Many of our vulnerable populations, such as seniors and young children, are relying on the Macomb Food Program now more than ever before for their basic food needs.
Thankfully with the help of our pantry partners we have been able to keep up with the growing demand in the short term. But the number of requests grows each day of the COVID pandemic and unfortunately we won’t be able to sustain this increase for long.
We need your help through the Holidays!
With your support, we can continue to feed those in need. In a time when showing up for one another is more important than ever, your donations are a straightforward way to aid friends and neighbors.
Please mail your check or money order made payable to the Macomb Food Program at the address below, or give online today.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Virtual
The Macomb Food Program is seeking donations as part of a virtual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, an annual event hosted by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC). In previous years, the food drive was held in May and saw postal workers pick up bags of non-perishable, non-expired food items left on porches or near mailboxes. This year, the NALC postponed the in-person event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To participate in the virtual food drive, visit the Macomb Food Program’s giving page, insert a dollar amount and select “NALC Virtual Food Drive” from the drop down menu. Donations will help the program purchase food that is then distributed to 60 pantries and hunger relief organizations across Macomb County. Also include the link to donate on this events page...https://macombgov.networkforgood.com/
