Feeding the hungry since 1975, the Macomb Food Program provides immediate relief to those
in need of food through a network of more than 50 pantries and hunger relief organizations.
The Macomb Food Program supplies food at no cost to ensure pantry shelves are stocked and
operates as a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. 

Mount Clemens Community-Wide Food Drive


Oakland University (OU) and The City of Mount Clemens are partnering again on a Community-wide Food Drive to support the Macomb Food Program (MFP). The food drive runs from November 11 – 20. Donations may also be made during the 44th Annual Macomb County Santa Parade on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the OU Anton/Frankel Center in Mount Clemens.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)/Commodities 

A federally funded program which helps supplements the diets of low-income individuals and families by providing them with emergency food and nutrition at no cost.  Food is distributed once per month through Macomb County distribution sites.  For more information contact the Macomb Food Program.

The "Fresh to You" mobile food pantry has been established to increase fresh food access to low-income communities throughout Macomb County.

Did you know?

$50      Distributes 150 meals to agencies serving hungry people.

$100    Distributes 300 meals to agencies serving hungry people.

$300    Your gift will provide over 900 meals to agencies serving hungry people.  


Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed at the warehouse to sort and re-box donated food products. Those interested in volunteering can
