Rent and Mortgage Assistance
Income-eligible Macomb County residents facing the following circumstances may be assisted in resolving their emergency:
- eviction
- Effective Spring 2021, assistance for renters facing eviction/housing insecurity may receive assistance via CERA - click to learn more
- The CERA program will stop taking applications on June 30, 2022 at 9:00pm. This means that any application must be completed and submitted by that time as our application system will close. Applications completed and submitted by that date will continue to be processed after June 30, 2022 until all of the financial assistance funds are spent.
